US CDC launches South-East Asia regional office in Hanoi

HANOI (Vietnam News/Asia News Network): US Vice President Kamala Harris launched the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention South-East Asia Regional Office in Hanoi, at a ceremony on Wednesday (Aug 25) during her three-day visit to the country.

The new Regional Office, based in Ngô Quyền Street in downtown area of Vietnam's capital city, is one of the four in the world.
