Vietnam reports 10,280 new Covid-19 cases, 358,456 in total as Ho Chi Minh City stays quiet


More than 17 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in Vietnam as of Sunday (Aug 22).- Vietnam News/ANN

HANOI, Aug. 23 (Xinhua): Vietnam reported 10,280 new Covid-19 infections on Monday, including 10,266 locally transmitted and 14 imported, according to its Ministry of Health.

Most of the community cases were detected in southern localities, including 4,251 in the epicenter Ho Chi Minh City, 3,183 in the nearby Binh Duong province and 623 in Dong Nai province.
