BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): The Sixth Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Ministerial Meeting on Food Security endorsed the Food Security Roadmap Towards 2030, focussing on digitalisation and innovation, productivity, inclusivity and sustainability and identifies actions and targets to achieve sufficient, safe, nutritious, accessible and affordable food for all.

The virtual meeting also promoted the inclusion of MSMEs, women, youth, Indigenous communities and the elderly in the sector, while also noting that the Roadmap is coherent with and will contribute to achieving the APEC Putrajaya Vision 2040.
