Indonesia records 15 months of trade balance surplus

JAKARTA (Xinhua): Indonesia recorded 15 months of trade balance surplus in a row, with that in July reaching US$2.59bil, according to the Central Agency of Statistics on Wednesday. (Aug 18)

The agency's head Margo Yuwono said the figure came from the non-oil and non-gas sector's surplus of $3.38bil, and the oil and gas sector's deficit of $0.79bil, also from the difference in exports of $17.70bil and imports of $15.11bil.
