MANILA (Philippine Daily Inquirer/ANN): A magnitude 7.1 quake struck northeast of Mati in Davao Oriental at 1.46AM on Thursday (Aug 12), according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
There was no tsunami threat to the Philippines, Phivolcs said.
