Indonesia reports 24,709 newly-confirmed Covid-19 cases, 1,466 more deaths

JAKARTA (Xinhua): The number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 24,709 within one day to 3,774,155, with the death toll adding by 1,466 to 113,664, the country's Health Ministry said on Thursday (Aug 12).

According to the ministry, 36,637 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of patients recovering from Covid-19 to 3,247,715.
