Stay put, Hanoi folk told

CHAIRMAN of the People’s Committee of Hanoi Chu Ngoc Anh has signed Document No.17/CD- UBND to ask district administrations not to let people move out of the city while social distancing measures are in place, except for those with a permit from the administration.

Anh said the head of the People’s Committee of each district must take responsibility if any person was found leaving the city without a permit.

He also ordered all agencies and organisations, including diplomatic agencies and international organisations, in the city to strictly implement the Government’s Directive 16, comply with regulations on keeping a safe distance and ensure that the minimum number of people were going to the office to work.
