HANOI, Aug 2 (Reuters): Vietnam likely recorded a trade deficit of $1.7 billion in July, widening from a deficit of US$500 million in June, government data released on the matter showed.
Exports in July were estimated up 8.4% from a year earlier to US$27.0 billion, while imports were seen increasing 29.9% to US$28.7 billion, the General Statistics Office (GSO) said in a statement.
