Philippines to impose travel ban on Indonesia to curb Delta variant

MANILA (Xinhua): The Philippines will ban all travellers from Indonesia from July 16 to July 31 to prevent the spread of the highly infectious coronavirus Delta variant, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said on Wednesday (July 14).

"President Rodrigo Duterte has approved the travel restrictions for all travelers coming from Indonesia or those with travel history to Indonesia within the last 14 days preceding arrival in the Philippines, " Roque said in a statement.
