Gunman kills Covid-19 patient at Pathum Thani field hospital

BANGKOK (The Nation/ANN): A gunman reportedly fired multiple shots through a glass door at Thanyarak Hospital in Pathum Thani’s Thanya Buri, and then proceeded to the patient wing where he shot a man coming out of the toilet before fleeing the scene.

Pratunam Chulalongkorn police station which was alerted to the incident at 3.20am on Thursday (June 24), rushed to the scene – the ground floor of the five-storey building that had been converted into a treatment facility for Covid-19 patients – and found the body of the male victim in front of the bathroom in the patient wing.
