Indonesia reports highest daily Covid-19 spike since late January

JAKARTA (Xinhua): Indonesia on Thursday (June 17) recorded 12, 624 newly-confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, marking the highest daily spike since Jan 30 and bringing the total tally to 1, 950, 276, the Health Ministry said.

The Covid-19 related death toll added by 277 to 53, 753, the ministry reported.
