Myanmar reports 223 new Covid-19 cases, 145, 826 in total

YANGON (Xinhua): Myanmar reported 223 new Cpvid-19 cases on Monday (June 14), bringing the total cases in the country to 145, 826, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health and Sports.

Four more deaths were reported on Monday, bringing the death toll to 3, 248 in the country, the statement said.

According to the ministry, a total of 132, 969 patients have been discharged from the hospitals and over 2.65 million samples have been tested for Covid-19 so far, including 2, 819 samples tested on Monday.

Myanmar detected its first two positive cases of Covid-19 on March 23 last year.
