Vietnam's total confirmed Covid-19 cases surpass 10,000; death toll at 58

HANOI, June 12 (Xinhua): Vietnam reported 261 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, including 259 locally transmitted and two imported, bringing the total tally to 10, 241, according to the country's Ministry of Health.

Among the community cases, 246 were reported in quarantine facilities or lockdown areas. In terms of localities, 125 were detected in the northern epidemic hotspot Bac Giang province, 84 in the southern Ho Chi Minh City, and 34 in the northern Bac Ninh province.
