SEOUL (The Straits Times/ANN): Some 100 days after rolling out its Covid-19 vaccination programme, South Korea is seeing high take-up rates and is on track to achieve herd immunity by November, despite initial public scepticism.

A record-high 875, 000 people were inoculated on Monday (June 7), bringing the total number who received their first shots to 8.45 million, or 16.3 per cent of the 51.8 million population.
