YANGON, May 30 (Bloomberg): Myanmar’s South-East Asian neighbors are seeking a watering-down of a UN General Assembly draft resolution which includes dropping a call for an arms embargo against the country, Reuters reported.
The nine other members of the Association of South-East Asian Nations, or Asean, said in a May 19 letter that the draft "cannot command the widest possible support in its current form, especially from all countries directly affected in the region, ” Reuters said on Friday.
