Philippines reports 210 Covid deaths — highest single-day fatality in May

MANILA (Philippine Daily Inquirer/ANN): An additional 210 Covid-19 patients have died, raising the number of fatalities related to the disease to 20,379 as of Thursday (May 27), according to data from the Department of Health (DOH).

This was the highest number of deaths reported in a day for the month of May. The previous highest number of deaths for the month was logged on May 9 when the DOH reported 204 new fatalities.
