JAKARTA, May 22 (Xinhua): Minor damages were reported after a powerful quake struck off Indonesia's western province of East Java on Friday night (May 21), but no casualties were reported, a rescue official said.
The 6.2-magnitude quake jolted at 7.09pm Jakarta time (1209 GMT) with the epicentre at 57 km southeast of Blitar district and the depth at 110km under the seabed, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency said.
