Thailand postpones start of new school term to June 14


BANGKOK (The Nation/ANN): The Education Ministry has delayed the reopening of schools until June 14 amid the surge in Covid-19 cases across the country.

Education Minister Trinuch Thienthong said the latest postponement was made over concern for the safety of students and teachers. The start of school term was previously postponed from May 17 to June 1.
