Vietnam reports 34 new Covid-19 cases


HANOI (Xinhua): Vietnam reported 34 new Covid-19 cases from 6pm local time Tuesday to 6am Wednesday (May 12), including 33 locally transmitted and one imported, raising the total confirmed cases in the country to 3,571, according to its Ministry of Health.

The community cases were all detected in lockdown areas in northern and central localities, including 13 in northern Vinh Phuc province, seven in central Danang city, six in northern Bac Giang province, and five in Vietnamese capital Hanoi, among others.
