BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, May 11 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Brunei has expressed deep concern over the actions by the occupying power, following attacks against Palestinian civilians at Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadhan and the forced evictions of Palestinian families in Sheikh Jarrah.

A Ministry of Foreign Affairs press statement yesterday stated, “Brunei Darussalam joined the international community in reiterating its serious concerns on any change in the status quo of Jerusalem. We reaffirmed our belief that the two-state solution is the most viable long-term solution towards achieving an independent state of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital.
