Philippine-Canada labour agreement coming soon


MANILA (Philippine Daily Inquirer/ANN): The Department of Labour and Employment (DOLE) may enter into a bilateral labour agreement with Canada in May or June on the deployment of migrant workers, Labour Secretary Silvestre Bello III said Wednesday (April 21).

“Maybe by May and June, we can sign a bilateral agreement with Canada, specifically the province of Yukon, because they want our street workers, teachers, and chefs.)
