WASHINGTON (Xinhua): Asia's economy is expected to grow by 7.6 per cent this year, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said Tuesday (April 13), while warning of "huge uncertainty" surrounding the projections.
"The pandemic has resulted in unprecedented output losses in the Asia-Pacific region," Jonathan D. Ostry, acting director of the IMF's Asia and Pacific Department, said during a virtual news conference.
