Cambodian PM praises WHO's leading role in tackling current global pandemic

PHNOM PENH, April 13 (Xinhua): Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen on Monday commended the World Health Organisation (WHO) for playing a leading role in dealing with the current global pandemic and highly valued the organisation's assistance to the kingdom.

"Cambodia is a strong advocate of multilateralism and we do appreciate the leading role of the WHO in tackling the current global pandemic," he wrote in a letter to Takeshi Kasai, WHO regional director for the Western Pacific.
