Jakarta-Bandung HSR's production and complex building successfully sealed, marking another progress

JAKARTA, April 5, Xinhua - A production and complex building of Jakarta-Bandung HSR has been successfully sealed, marking another progress in the construction of the high speed railway (HSR), the railway's operator said on Sunday.

With a speed of 350 km per hour, the high-speed railway built with the Chinese technology will cut the journey between Jakarta and Bandung, the capital of West Java province, from more than three hours to around 40 minutes. The US$5.5 billion project is expected to be completed this year.
