Coronavirus: 300,000 Pfizer-BioNTech shots land in Hong Kong for vaccination relaunch

A new batch of 300,000 BioNTech doses arrived in Hong Kong on Friday for next week’s relaunch of suspended Covid-19 vaccinations using the German-made jab.

Sources confirmed that Cathay Pacific flight CX288 carrying the shots landed shortly after midday ahead of Monday’s planned resumption of the BioNTech programme, following a 12-day hiatus over defective vials in the city’s original supply of the vaccine.
