Vietnamese drifting at sea for five days rescued near Tok Bali


PASIR PUTEH, March 28 (Bernama): A man believed to be a Vietnamese national who have been drifting at sea for about five days, was found clinging to a buoy by a local ship near the Malaysia-Thailand border in Tok Bali near here.

Kelantan Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) director Captain (Maritime) Muhd Nur Syam Asmawie Yaacob said the victim, Le Hoang Em, 41, was rescued by Express 93, 107.2 nautical miles off Muara Tok Bali, at about 11.30 am yesterday.
