Laos: School feeding project launched to support priority schools


VIENTIANE, March 24 (Vientiane Times/ANN): A new school feeding project has been launched in the last 18 priority districts designated by the government, with thousands of schoolchildren set to benefit through enhanced learning, support for access to education, clean water, and better health and nutrition.

The Ministry of Education and Sports and the World Food Programme (WFP) on Tuesday hosted an orientation and planning workshop for the new McGovern-Dole funded 5-year school feeding project, and to officially launch the project.
