Brunei-China joint venture launches Clean Beach Initiative

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Xinhua): Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between China and Brunei, launched on Wednesday (March 4) its Clean Beach Initiative as part of its long-term Corporate Social Responsibility in preserving the local environment towards a sustainable future.

As part of the initiative, Hengyi installed two signages and six recycle bins at Muara Recreational Beach, and two recycle bins at Serasa Beach as a reminder to the public to help keep the beach clean and to adopt a greener lifestyle. Hengyi will also be engaging a third-party cleaning company to ensure that the recycle bins are maintained and cleaned out regularly.
