The Japanese government is contributing ¥180mil (RM6.9mil) over two years to ease the impacts of heavy rains and floods in Savannakhet and Laos’ southern provinces.
The Labour and Social Welfare Ministry, the Embassy of Japan to the Lao PDR and the World Food Programme (WFP) on Friday agreed to work together to support the communities suffering from the impacts of climate change.
