HANOI (Reuters): Vietnam's main business hub, Ho Chi Minh City, received remittances worth US$6.1 billion last year, a record high and up 12% from the previous year, state media reported on Thursday (Feb 18).
Remittances are a key source of US dollars for Vietnam, along with exports and foreign investment.
