LOCAL filmmaker Abdul Zainidi’s Worm and the Widow was selected to represent Brunei at the 2021 Asean Cinema Week from March 12 to 25.

The film is inspired by a folklore tale from the Tutong district and portrays two outcast individuals – a widow and a differently-abled person – who become best friends.
