MANILA, Jan 30, 2021 (AFP): Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has reimposed a ban on children aged 10 to 14 leaving home, telling them to watch TV instead, as the country battles an outbreak of a new coronavirus strain.

Stay-at-home orders for all children and the elderly have been kept in place across most of the country since the start of the pandemic -- even as the economy reopened after crippling lockdowns and restrictions.
