WEF’s Schwab still has hope for Singapore Davos Meeting


SINGAPORE, Jan 24 (Bloomberg): World Economic Forum Founder Klaus Schwab is "hopeful” the event due to be held in Singapore will take place and warned a failure to tackle climate change could be even more socially damaging than the Covid-19 pandemic.

The WEF’s annual meeting in the Swiss ski resort of Davos, which attracts heads of state, celebrities and corporate executive, is being conducted virtually this year due to the pandemic.
