SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/ANN): Dr Oon Chiew Seng, one of Singapore's first obstetricians and gynaecologists, has received an honorary degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS) for her lifelong dedication to medical education and public service.

Dr Oon also set up Singapore's first dementia home after she retired.
