TOKYO, Jan 10 (AP/Bloomberg): Japan’s government is considering approving Pfizer Inc.’s Covid-19 vaccine for use by individuals aged 16 years and above, broadcaster NHK reported.

Authorities will approve the vaccine for the age group as Japan’s clinical trials are conducted on people from 20 years old, so data on those younger isn’t unavailable, the report said, citing people familiar with the matter that it didn’t identify.
