YANGON, Jan 9 (Xinhua): Myanmar authorities seized 614.51 tonnes of illegal timbers across Myanmar in a week, according to a latest media release from the Forest Department under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation.
The seizures were made in the country's regions, states and the Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory from Dec 28 to Jan 3.
