MANILA, Dec 26 (Xinhua): Michelle Rubio, a grade school teacher from the sleepy mountain village of Prieto Diaz in Sorsogon province, southeast of Manila, is going to great lengths to bring festive cheer amid the continuing global pandemic.

Wearing a red dress and a Santa hat, Rubio crossed rivers and walked over 2km to distribute gifts and food packages to her students and their families on Christmas Eve.
