S. Korea's export rises 1.2 per cent in first 20 days of December

SEOUL (Xinhua): South Korea's export slightly rose in the first 20 days of this month due to solid demand for semiconductors and mobile devices, customs office data showed Monday (Dec 21).

Export, which takes up about half of the export-driven economy, came in at US$30.8 billion in the Dec 1-Dec 20 period, up 1.2 per cent from the same period of last year, according to Korea Customs Service.
