ONE out of every two Brunei children drinks soft drinks daily and one in three local children are overweight, which means Brunei has the highest children obesity rates in Asean, a local newspaper reported.
According to the Borneo Bulletin, the growing concern of obesity among Brunei children was highlighted at the first Children’s Obesity Awareness Day, organised on Sunday by the Paediatric Department of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (Ripas) Hospital.
