KUALA LUMPUR (The Star/ANN): The October trade numbers of the Philippines suggest that this Covid19-rattled country will experience a slow economic recovery, according to an analysis by ING’s senior economist in the country.
Nicholas Mapa, in his economic report dated Dec 10, noted that Philippine October imports had fallen at double-digit rate for ninth straight months, and had been in contraction for 18 months.
