India's Covid-19 cases continue downward trend; below 50,000 per day for more than a month

NEW DELHI, Dec 6 (Xinhua): India's Covid-19 tally reached 9,644,222 on Sunday as 36,011 new cases were registered during the past 24 hours, said the latest data from the federal health ministry.

According to the data, the death toll mounted to 140,182 as 482 virus patients died since on Sunday (Dec 6) morning.
