Thailand secures Astrazeneca vaccines, raising hope of travel in 2021

BANGKOK, Dec 5 (dpa): Thailand has signed a contract with the British-Swedish pharmaceutical company Astrazeneca to supply 26 million doses of its Covid-19 vaccine.

The AZD1222 drug will be made available to the South-East Asian country of 69 million inhabitants in mid-2021, the Bangkok Post newspaper reported on Friday.
