Philippines is world’s best diving spot


Taking the plunge in paradise: The Philippines bested eight spots in the world’s leading dive destination category, including Bora Bora in French Polynesia, Fiji and Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. — Bloomberg

For the second year in a row, the Philippines was hailed as the world’s leading dive destination by the 2020 World Travel Awards.

The award-giving body, which announced its 2020 winners on Friday, also named the walled city of Intramuros in Manila as the world’s top tourist attraction this year.
