Cambodia arrests man with over 48kg of illicit drugs


PHNOM PENH (Xinhua): Cambodian authorities have arrested a 35-year-old local man for allegedly trafficking more than 48kg of illicit drugs, the National Police reported on Sunday (Nov 22).

The suspect was first arrested on Wednesday near a gas station in the capital Phnom Penh's Sen Sok district with 100 grams of crystal methamphetamine and after being questioned, he confessed to having hidden a large amount of drugs in his rental room.
