HANOI, Nov 21 (Bloomberg): Vietnam is looking to reset its volatile relationship with the US after finding itself caught in the middle of President Donald Trump’s economic confrontation with China.

The South-East Asian nation was among the biggest beneficiaries of the US-China trade war as global companies added investments to diversify their supply chains. But its own swelling surpluses with the U.S. saw it slapped with tariffs and accused of currency manipulation.
