Myanmar's ruling party pledges to fulfill people's needs, aspirations

YANGON (Xinhua): Myanmar's ruling National League for Democracy (NLD) pledged on Tuesday (Nov 17) to fulfill the needs and aspirations of people after winning in the general election on Nov. 8.

The NLD party said in its first message to the public after result announcements of general elections that it will continue implementing its three goals mentioned in the election manifesto, to strive for ethnic affairs and internal peace, a constitution that can create a democratic federal union, and sustainable development and security.
