Local case in Shanghai among 22 new infections on mainland

SHANGHAI/BEIJING (Xinhua): China's National Health Commission said Tuesday that it received reports of 22 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland Monday, including one local case in Shanghai and 21 imported cases.

The locally transmitted case involved a 51-year-old male porter who works at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport. He showed symptoms of fever, stuffiness and fatigue on Nov 8, according to the municipal health commission.
