Myanmar extends suspension of international commercial air services to end Nov as Covid-19 surges past 46,000

YANGON, Oct 27 (Xinhua): Myanmar's Ministry of Transport and Communications has announced the extension of suspension period of international commercial air services until the end of November.

After Covid-19 was first detected in the country on March 23, the government suspended the operation of international commercial air services since the end of March so as to prevent the importation of the disease through air travel.
