Workers and students were expected to stage another rally in front of Merdeka Palace, Central Jakarta as protests against the omnibus law on job creation enter their third week in Jakarta and other major cities across the nation.

Around 10,000 workers from Banten, grouped under the United Banten Workers Alliance (AB3), had planned to stage a demonstration in front of the State Palace, as confirmed by alliance presidium member Maman Nuriman.
