Indonesia to get 100 million Covid-19 vaccine doses from AstraZeneca


JAKARTA (The Jakarta Post/ANN): Indonesia has secured a commitment of 100 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines from British drugmaker AstraZeneca for delivery next year, Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said from London on Wednesday (Oct 15).

Retno and State-Owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir led a state delegation on a two-day trip to London this week to meet various stakeholders, including executives from AstraZeneca, who signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Indonesian Health Ministry on the procurement of their Covid-19 vaccine candidate.
